Miami’s got the Spice; Red brings the Sizzle.

If you live in Miami, you likely already know about Miami Spice, but if not, “Miami Spice 2010 is a mouth-watering summer restaurant promotion showcasing the very best of Miami cuisine.” It’s a chance to sample some of the city’s most celebrated chef’s specialty dishes for a fraction of the regular price ($22 for lunch and $35 for dinner). We’re lucky enough to work with one of the fabulous restaurants participating in Miami Spice - Red, the Steakhouse. Not only is this top steakhouse participating, but they are probably offering one of the best values out there.
(Don’t take our word for it, Lee Klein of the Miami New Times agrees it’s a deal.)
To add to the fun and festivities of Miami Spice, Red is running a Twitter promo to give a lucky winner each week a FREE Miami Spice dinner for two. Beginning in August, RED will release a #DailySpice question of the day every Monday through Friday on Twitter. Correctly answering the question automatically enters you into a weekly drawing to win a free dinner for two during Miami Spice. The daily spice questions will be a mix of queries testing knowledge of the spices that can be found in Chef Peter Vauthy’s culinary creations.
Here’s how it works:
1. Follow Chef Peter Vauthy on Twitter at @RedSteakhouse
2. Look for the daily spice question posted by Chef Peter every morning, Monday through Friday, marked with the #DailySpice hashtag
3. Reply to @RedSteakhouse by midnight each day with the correct answer and include the #DailySpice hashtag in your tweet
4. Correct responses are automatically entered for a chance to win
5. @RedSteakhouse will tweet a winner each Monday morning from the previous week’s entries
Contest participants must be following @RedSteakhouse on Twitter to qualify to win and can submit one answer each day for up to five chances to win weekly. Each winner, selected at random from the week’s entries, will be announced via Twitter Monday mornings, beginning August 9th.
Here’s a peek at the menu being offered next week (it will change weekly to keep it fresh so you can go back for dinner over and over and try different apps, entrees and desserts each time you visit). Bon apetit!
