Mom Bloggers in Puerto Rico
Posted: 07/26/2010 | By: sportyd
Debbie, Corinne, Amber, and Colleen (better known to some as @deliciousbaby, @hvbabywilltrvl, @crazycanuckblog, and @travelmamas) were hosted by the San Juan Marriott for a few fun filled days of kite flying, water sliding, fort exploring, and rollercoaster riding fun. (Oh, we invited their kids too.)
Here’s a few highlights of the trip in pictures:
Day One: A trip to Museo de la Biblia (don’t let the name fool you - this is four stories of fun: mini golf, amusement park, ice skating, aquarium, pizza parlor, dinosaurs and more) followed by a delicious dinner at Jam in Condado where we enjoyed adult martinis and kid mocktinis.

Dinosaurs on display.

Reptiles and fish were a hit.

No fear for these kids… hands up!

A choco-tini for this Carrie Bradshaw in training, while one mom tears up the dance floor of the San Juan Marriott lobby lounge with two tiny dancers.
Day Two: A morning spent on the beach and at the pool at the San Juan Marriott - enjoying frozen treats and the waterslide, followed by an afternoon in Old San Juan exploring El Morro, flying kites and tasty piraguas.

Beach bums and beach ball fun.

Nothing better than a frozen drink at the pool bar… virgin daiquiris all around.

The biggest hit by far - for mom and kids alike.

El Morro - a UNESCO World Heritage site with lots to explore.

A perfect breeze sent our kites flying… and check out this multi-tasking mom - kite, blackberry and baby all at once. Impressive.

But somethings are more interesting than kites… like a good roll down a hill. Who could resist?

Smart mom… the flavor matched his shirt, no mess for this kid. But sometimes you just want your lime!

Perfect end to the afternoon.

Good times, good friends… and good chance their moms will be blogging about a wedding about 20 years from now.
This trip was sponsored by the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino.

LOVE these photos! That sepia one is precious. And how great that the kids - minus sweet Delicious Baby - were so close in age. Very cool.

We had such a great time - thanks again. Megan is already planning our next visit so we can bring her Daddy & Brother!

Thanks again for all these wonderful memories. Everest says he doesn’t want to visit any other islands besides Puerto Rico. I don’t know whether he’s more smitten with TravelMamas daughter, or San Juan!

Gorgeous photos! And thanks for not posting any of me on the waterslide!
Karissa & I miss San Juan & all our travel friends already!

Looks like everyone had a blast. Should have known that waterslide would be a hit. We love working with the San Juan Marriott as they sure know how to host a group and this seems to be another example. Thanks to everyone that participated and to Kara for pulling off a seamless visit. (As usual.)

This turned out great. What an amazing place and amazing trip. My daughter still talks about the “magic beach hotel” and wants to know when we’ll be back.

Just looking back at these (fab) pictures. I don’t think there’s a single one where I’m doing only one thing

I had such a great time experiencing the destination and resort through a new pair of (youthful) eyes. Thanks to Debbie, Colleen, Corinne and Amber for their fabulous kids!
